The most stand-out memory of game 1 will be ShowMaker emote-flashing iG and FPX when solo-killing G2 players. This was, apparently, enough to anger some fans.

While G2 recovered in game 2 to tie the score, game 3 was a rough one. Mikyx's Pantheon struggled, but the jungle difference — a.k.a. the Canyon difference — was huge as well. Then again, wait till we get to game 4...

Game 4 was over in 19:03 minutes — the fastest game in Worlds history. G2 took it with a smile on their faces, and so did the community. While perhaps a disappointing way to go out, this was G2's third semifinal appearance in three years.
