The LG Ultra-Gear™ Face-Off VALORANT tournament is fast approaching. Today, Oct. 3, 20 influencers from four FPS titles will form teams and battle it out to answer the question "Which FPS genre is the best at VALORANT?"

When and where is LG UltraGear Face-Off happening?

The tournament begins Oct. 3 at 16:00 ET, with the first match starting 16:15 ET. The matches in this four-team double-elimination bracket will be streamed at these times:

  • Loser’s round: 20:00 ET
  • Loser’s final: 21:15 ET

Disclaimer: Exact start times might vary depending on the broadcast.

All games will be live-streamed on LG UltraGear’s official Twitch channel here, as well as on each influencer’s personal streamers.

What are the opening matches of LG UltraGear Face-Off?

The first opening match is between Team Hero-shooter, led by Félix "xQc" Lengyel, and Team Survival, whose captain is Maria "ChicaLive" Lopez. This is a match-up between Overwatch/APEX Legends veterans and Fortnite pros and streamers, so it's going to be one hell of a show.

The other match is between two titans of the FPS genre: Team Delta (CS:GO), led by Tim "TimTheTatman" Betar, and Team Striker (Call of Duty), led by Dimitri "Greekgodx" Antonatos. Both CoD and CS:GO are storied esports, and so are their influencers, making this a difficult to predict match.

Full bracket preview and predictions, as well as a player spotlight of the four captains, are available below.
