On Monday morning, HeroesHearth, daughter company of Wisdom Gaming Group and creator of the upcoming Heroes of the Storm Community Clash League announced the eight organizations that will be rostering teams for the upcoming event.
Headlined by two organizations that participated in the official Heroes Global Championship (HGC) professional circuit, new and old faces will work to ensure there is more competitive Heroes of the Storm action to be had in the short and long term.
The confirmed organizations are as follows, according to HeroesHearth's announcement:
- Chilly Mountain
- Granit Gaming
- Oxygen Esports
- Simplicity
- WildHeart Esports
- Michael Udall (Team name TBD)
- Turk (Team name TBD)
- Sidestep Kings
Granit Gaming and Simplicity previously sponsored teams in Europe and North America while the HGC was taking place back in 2018. Michael Udall, Turk and Sidestep Kings are being led by three long-time members of the game's community. Michael Udall and Sidestep Kings are owned by former professional players Michael Udall and Fan Yang, respectively, while Turk is represented by a long-time content creator who goes by the same name.
Each organization will be provided a stipend for $3,000 by HeroesHearth for the upcoming season which will be distributed to all of their team's players at predetermined points.
Prior to organizations selecting players to fill out their rosters via Live Draft taking place on October 17, organizations will be scouting interested participants from September 21 until October 11 to get a feel for the pool of talent.
