Juked.gg, the one-stop-destination for esports entertainment, announced the launch of its crowd equity fundraising campaign via Republic.co/juked today which enables anyone to invest in Juked for as little as $100. With crowd equity, Juked is sidestepping traditional venture capital and opening up to the esports community at large.

This fundraising round will give Juked the resources necessary to accelerate development of its core product, mobile app and original content offering. Crowd equity also gives anyone the opportunity to own a piece of the fast growing esports startup, and participate directly in the company’s success.

As such, Juked will give unique perks to crowd equity investors, including early access to upcoming features and internal roadmaps, as well as direct channels to work hand in hand with the Juked team to give feedback and improve the product.

“Running a startup and fundraising in the COVID era presents many challenges, with VCs deploying a fraction of the capital they had before the global crisis,” said Ben Goldhaber, co-founder and CEO of Juked. "Crowd equity gives us a chance not only to raise significant capital, but also to work directly with the esports community to take Juked to the next level. Community is deeply embedded into our DNA, so it makes sense for us to work directly with the esports community to build Juked into the best product it can be.”

Over the last 12 months Juked closed an aggregate of $1 million in funding from a variety of prominent esports, gaming, and tech investors, including: Mike Morhaime, the co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment, 500 Startups, and Stewart Alsop, the lead investor in Twitch’s Series A, among others, and over that same time period Juked’s user base has grown more than 74.5% month over month to more than 50,000 monthly active users.

Now, Juked looks to offer any investor a chance to invest in the future of esports, and help Juked in their mission to grow esports for decades to come, starting today. For more information on Juked and to become a Juked investor, head over to Republic.co/Juked.
