TSM has defeated FlyQuest 3-2 in the 2020 League of Legends Championship Series Summer Playoffs to crown itself champion of North America. This win is TSM's first domestic title since the 2017 NA LCS Summer Split, and the team will enter Worlds 2020 as NA's #1 seed after missing the League of Legends World Championship in both 2018 and 2019.

TSM went up 2-0 in the final series of the 2020 LCS Summer Playoffs, and managed to edge out the series 3-2 after losing games three and four. TSM will enter Worlds 2020 as the 1st LCS seed, with FlyQuest and Team Liquid, the latter of whom lost to TSM yesterday in the penultimate post-season match, will enter as the 2nd and 3rd NA seed, respectively.

TSM entered the LCS Summer Playoffs as the 4th seed and had an incredible run to the finals. A 3-0 loss to Golden Guardians was followed by a 3-0 eliminating sweep of Dignitas, a 3-2 reverse sweep rematch against GG, a 3-1 over Cloud9, and a 3-2 over TL to face FlyQuest in the finals and win its first LCS title in two years.

In winning the 2020 LCS Summer Playoffs, TSM has won its 7th domestic title. TSM is the winningest organization in North America and will head into Worlds 2020 as the region's 1st seed since its last qualification of 2017.

As the respective 1st and 2nd seed for LCS in Worlds 2020, TSM and FlyQuest will both enter the 2020 World Championship in the Group Stage of the Main Event of the tournament. As North America's 3rd seed, Team Liquid will have to play through the Play-In stage to join FLY and TSM in the Group Stage of Worlds 2020.
