Rogue has defeated the MAD Lions 3-0 in the 2020 League of Legends European Championship Summer Playoffs. With regained synergy between the team members, the team will advance to the Semifinals.

Rogue had not been able to secure any wins in the playoffs stage until today, which had prompted questions in the community about the team being able to carry a good performance at Worlds given their poor showing in the beginning of playoffs, and whether or not it was fair they qualified for the World Championship through the regular season.

By securing a win over MAD Lions, Rogue has proven to be deserving of their first place in the regular season and will be playing against G2 Esports next week for a chance to reach the 202 Summer Split finals versus Fnatic.

Keeping the meme alive, we very well might be seeing another Fnatic versus G2 Esports finals if Rogue does not step up to defeat the Samurais.
