On the 22nd (KST), the esports company that operates SeolHaeOne Prince, APE Sports (APE) announced that Sehun, a member of the globally popular K-pop boy group, EXO, as their newest shareholder.

 

SeolHaeOne Prince operates teams in various esports titles, such as League of Legends, PUBG, Teamfight Tactics, and VALORANT. With partners from various industries such as Kolon Industries, SeolHaeOne Resort and even Pittsburgh Knights (ran by the NFL team, Pittsburgh Steelers), they are preparing to apply for franchising in the LCK, scheduled for 2021. 

 

Kim Ok-jin of APE stated, “Elements of traditional sports and entertainment coexist in esports, so we believe that the partnership with Sehun of EXO, who found incredible global success in the entertainment industry, will be of great help.
