On June 18th (KST), in the 2020 League of Legends Champions Korea Summer Split, kt Rolster played Team Dynamics and SeolHaeOne Prince played Hanwha Life Esports.

Team Dynamics picked Yasuo-Senna in their bot lane against kt Rolster’s Ashe-Karma. It was a struggle for Team Dynamics in the early game, but after the laning phase, they turned the game around, stacking win after win in teamfights and objective fights. Mid laner Lee “Kuzan” Seong-hyeok had a great performance on Corki and was voted as the Player of the Game.

In Game 2, Team Dynamics top laner Lee “Rich” Jae-won’s performance on Aatrox was splendid. Starting with a critical 1v2 counter on the opponent Rek’Sai, Aatrox pushed the lane against Jayce. The biggest moment was when he stole the dragon to bring the Infernal Dragon’s Soul to his team. In the following teamfight, Seo “deokdam” Dae-gil picked up a quadrakill to finish the game. With this win, Team Dynamics had a clean 2-0 sweep over kt Rolster.

SeolHaeOne Prince won the first game against Hanwha Life Esports. Mid laner Son "Mickey" Young-min who returned to the LCK led the early skirmishes and Lee "HyBriD" Woo-jin dominated the late game. As Mickey's Zoe collected four kills in early skirmishes, SeolHaeOne Prince earned time to scale. Despite Gragas being cut off twice, SeolHaeOne Prince took all objectives and succeeded to take the first game.

Hanwha Life Esports picked Twitch and Yuumi in their bot lane. It was SeolHaeOne Prince who went ahead in the early game, but it was close as Hanwha Life Esports struck back. After securing Baron, SeolHaeOne Prince destroyed both twin towers of Hanwha Life Esports, but it wasn’t enough. In a following teamfight, Aphelios was cut off due to going in too deep, Hanwha Life Esports scored an Ace and was able to destroy the Nexus on the other end.

In Game 3, Mickey’s Azir was well ahead of his counterpart in mid lane, being three levels ahead at one point. As Park “Viper” Do-hyeon’s Ezreal dealt massive damage with Son “Lehends” Si-woo’s Yuumi, Hanwha Life Esports put up a good fight. However, it wasn’t enough as Ezreal was forced out of the base and was prevented to recall. As a result, SeolHaeOne Prince was able to win the first match of the season.
