Esports organization DragonX has partnered with Supercar brand McLaren in the team's home of Seoul, South Korea. The partnership was made official via the team's global Twitter account on Wednesday afternoon local time. DragonX is the first esports organization to sign a partnership with McLaren. However, the current details of what the partnership will entail is currently unknown.

DRX most recently competed in the 2020 League of Legends Champions Korea Spring Playoffs, where the team finished in 3rd place after an eliminating loss to eventual champion T1 Esports. DRX also finished in 3rd in the 2020 LCK Spring Split.

In a few days, DragonX will compete in the 2020 Mid-Season Cup, an online tournament between the top four teams in the LCK and the top 4 teams China's League of Legends Pro League. MSC 2020 is filling the LoL esports void created by the absence of the annual Mid-Season Invitational due to the global pandemic caused by the outbreak of COVID-19.
