Teamfight Tactics developer Riot Games introduced TFT: Galaxies on February 19, and on May 7, announced that a mid-set update would be coming in about a month's time. The second half of TFT: Galaxies, which begins in early June, will include a mid-set update with a few adjustments to traits within the game, as well as several new champions.

Riot Games broke down the changes coming to Teamfight Tactics: Galaxies in a developer update, in which the changes to ranked gameplay and rewards, TFT Mobile updates, and Galaxies Pass II were broken down step by step.

A new ranked act will be added to TFT: Galaxies, and will include a ranked reset, with ranked rewards from the Launch Set, Rise of the Elements, and Galaxies' first act. Players who placed Gold or higher in the launch set and Rise of the Elements will receive their  Victorious Little Legends will be coming in patch 10.12. Additionally, if a player gets Gold or higher in both Galaxies acts, they'll also be awarded the Galaxies Victorious Little Legends at the end of the set.

A ton of new champions and even a few new traits will be added to TFT in the second half of Galaxies, but a few champions and traits will also be removed.  A new Little Legends egg with three new species will be added as part of the Galaxies Pass II, which was created due to popular demand of the grinding, experience-focused approach of the TFT battle pass. Galaxies Pass II also includes new arenas, emotes, and booms, and will also be available for purchase at the cost of 1295 RP.

Lastly, TFT Mobile will be receiving some adjustments after its first month saw 10 million players hit the arena via a mobile device. In addition to performance upgrades, the mobile version of Teamfight Tactics will also have its own store going forward. Riot Games promised that once the mobile experience for Teamfight Tactics players was optimized, the game would also be coming to tablets.
