Esports organization TSM announced that it would begin accepting applications for VALORANT, Riot Games' tactical shooter that is currently in Closed Beta. TSM is looking for both players and content creators of VALORANT and included an application link in its tweet announcing the news.

Since its establishment in 2009, TSM has always been a forward-thinking organization from a business standpoint. In throwing its proverbial hat in the ring for VALORANT players and content creators, TSM would join Cloud9, Ninjas in Pyjamas, & T1 in being the only organizations to have signed VALORANT talent of any kind.

T1 established the legendary SK Telecom T1 as the greatest League of Legends organization of all time, and was quick to begin building its VALORANT dynasty. On March 9, T1 signed the first professional VALORANT player ever in Braxton "Brax" Pierce. Before retiring from competitive CS:GO, Brax was known as swag.

On April 7, T1 signed the second competitive VALORANT player ever in Keven “AZK” Larivière. AZK is Brax's former CS:GO teammate, and both players were involved in the 2014 iBUYPOWER scandal.

On April 8, Ninjas in Pyjamas re-signed the entirety of its Paladins: Champions of the Realm team as its new VALORANT squad, the only difference being Erik “Bird” Sjösten's change from player to Head Coach. Since VALORANT is a 5v5 shooter, the team is still looking for one more player to complete its starting roster.

Tyson "TenZ" Ngo retired from competitive Counter-Strike: Global Offensive last year and joined Cloud9 as a streamer, but as of April 14 has become the organization's first professional VALORANT player. Team Liquid and 100 Thieves have not made any VALORANT signings, but both organizations have hosted show-matches, invitationals, and tournaments centered around the title.

TSM currently has organizational divisions for League of Legends, PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS, Fortnite, Hearthstone, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Overwatch, Apex Legends, Magic: The Gathering, World of Warcraft, and Rainbow Six Siege. TSM also has three Twitch representatives on its roster.
