Cloud9 has won the 2020 League of Legends Championship Series Spring Playoffs in dominant fashion with a 3-0 victory over FlyQuest. Since the start of 2020, C9 has only dropped two games to its opponents: one in the 2020 LCS Spring Split against TSM, and one in the post-season against Evil Geniuses. 

Despite Cloud9's consistent performance internationally, this is the first domestic title the team has won since the 2014 NA LCS Spring Playoffs, where Hai "Hai" Lam led the classic C9 roster to a 3-0 sweep of TSM. Cloud9's victory features an entire new lineup of players, and a new era of dominance for the strongest organization in North American League of Legends esports. 

In a broadcast interview following the sweep of FlyQuest with Gabriella "LeTigress" Devia-Allen, Cloud9 AD Carry Jesper "Zven" Svenningsen looked at his most jubilant since first coming to NA to play for TSM ahead of the 2018 NA LCS season. "This was my goal when I first came to North America." Zven told LeTigress after securing his first LCS championship. "There's a sense of relief, but also, I feel complete."

Cloud9 has secured 1st place in the 2020 LCS Spring Split, the 2020 LCS Spring Playoffs championship, the 1st All-Pro Team in all five positions, the Coach of the Split award for Head Coach Bok "Reapered" Han-gyu and the Honda Most Valuable Player award for Jungler Robert "Blaber" Huang.

However, one of Zven's accomplishments stands alone: He is the first player to win both a European and North American League of Legends championship.
