Riot Games announced on Wednesday, April 8 that the remainder of the 2020 League of Legends Championship Series Spring Playoffs would be broadcasted in partnership with ESPN. Starting with the best-of-five series between 3rd seed 100 Thieves and 5th seed TSM, the rest of the 2020 LCS Spring Playoffs will be viewable on the ESPN App and ESPN2 in addition to the standard streaming options via LolesportsTwitch, and YouTube.

The 2020 LCS Spring Split, like all other splits before it, was being held at the LCS Studios on the edge of Los Angeles, CA and Santa Monica, CA, but was suspended after week 7 due to the outbreak of COVID-19. Two weeks later, the LCS resumed with week 8 fully online.

Riot Games confirmed in its official announcement of the partnership that games broadcasted on the ESPN2 channel would immediately be available via the ESPN app upon completion. 100 Thieves takes on TSM in the 2020 LCS Spring Playoffs April 8 at 1:00pm PST.
