As previously posted last week, the Boston Uprising underwent an investigation with their flex tank, Walid “Mouffin” Bassal. Practices of sexual misconduct were mentioned by @KhaleesiBB, who wrote a TwitLonger explaining the situation. To summarize, Mouffin was accused of conducting sexual engagements towards persons of minor age at gaming events.  

Fast forward to today and the Uprising decided to terminate their tank player's contract. This was the aftermath of the Uprising deciding to not have Mouffin participate in last week's Overwatch League match against the Toronto Defiant. Mouffin debuted in OWL this season during the first week at the NYXL Homestand and was one of their tank players up until this time. 

At this time, there is no statement from Mouffin himself regarding the situation. There is also no statement from OWL officials regarding whether Mouffin is allowed to play in the league moving forward.
