In Day 28 of the Round 2 of 2020 LCK Spring Split, T1, APK Prince, and KT Rolster each took match victory against Hanwha Life Esports, SANDBOX Gaming, and Afreeca Freecs respectively.

In the first match of the day, T1 defeated HLE with a set score of 2-1. Despite T1’s fast paced victory in Game 1, CuVee’s Sylas and Zenit’s Aphelios outshined the other players in the game to even up the scoreboard of the match.

T1’s victory came from Faker. T1 had an early lead, but HLE was able to catch up to seemingly even up the game. However, in the critical moment, Faker’s Azir was able to kill the enemy’s main carry, Ezreal, with his ultimate, Emperor’s Divide, to turn the favor of the game in T1’s favor and take the victory.

The newcomers of the LCK, APK, defeated SANDBOX 2-0. This match was all about APK’s Bot laner, HyBriD, as not only was he able to put out 1,100 DPM, he also scored his first Pentakill of his career on Miss Fortune and received Player of the Game (POG) for both games.

In the final match of the day, KT Rolster extended their winning streak to seven games by defeating Afreeca 2-1. The Bot laner for KT, Aiming, put on a dominating performance in Game 1 on Ezreal, and truly showed what ‘Bot lane difference’ meant. However, Afreeca was able to turn things around in Game 2, where Fly and Mystic was able to carry the game and tie up the series.

Game 3 was quite a long duel between the two teams. KT had an early Dragon stock lead, so not only were they able to successfully halt Kiin’s split pushing on Jax, they outperformed Afreeca in late game teamfights, thus successfully closing out the series and extending their match win streak to seven.
