Former Griffin and current DragonX head coach, Kim “cvMax” Dae-ho has been given a summary order from the Uijeongbu District Prosecutors’ Office. Previously, cvMax was accused of assaulting a player and of violent verbal actions.
A summary order is applied by the prosecutor if it deemed that a case calls for a fine as penalty. In such an event, the judge renders a summary order without a trial. However, if the summary order is deemed inadequate, the matter may be submitted to a regular trial. The defendant may apply for a regular trial within seven days of receiving the notice of the simplified order.
When asked to comment on the issue, Riot Korea said, “As much as cvMax hasn’t yet decided to appeal or not, we will be keeping an eye on the process.”
