Singaporean Legends of Runeterra fans woke up to a fun surprise this morning. All of a sudden they received a notification that the mobile version of Legends of Runeterra was available in the Google Play Store and App Store. And indeed: they can now install and play Riot's collectible card game on their Android and iOS smartphones.
The mobile version comes just a month and a half after Legends of Runeterra went into Open Beta, and it seems to work pretty smoothly. The visuals are almost all identical to the PC version of the game. The only notable difference is your 'hand': when not playing cards, they're tucked away in the bottom right corner. Once you tap them they jump forward and you can play them, keep track of any buffs they might have gotten, or take a look at their full card art. On the bottom left your loyal Guardian sits, and yes, you can play with it on the mobile version too!
Though officially not everyone can install the mobile component yet, a Redditor posted a link to the APK (Android Application Package) files of Legends of Runeterra, through which you can play it on your own Android device after logging in with your Riot Games account. It has to be mentioned that installing files unverified by the Google Play Store does bring risks with it as they haven't been checked for malware, so be mindful of that. So far though, most other Redditors don't seem to have run into any issues.
