Hearthstone has announced that the Masters Tour will take place in Madrid, Spain. Happening at DreamHack Spain, the event will feature a prize pool of over $250,000, from a total yearly prize pool of $3 million.
The Masters Tour is an invitation-only tournament, where players can qualify through tournaments on Battlefy. There will be nearly 300 competitors, including some of the biggest names in Hearthstone esports competing for the base prize pool.
In mid-February, Blizzard announced that the next Hearthstone Masters Tours, taking place in Indonesia, had to be relocated to Los Angeles due to the risks of Coronavirus. Just today, the League of Legends Championship in Korea had announced its hiatus due to increasing risks of Coronavirus inspection, and the League of Legends Pro League in China is about to start its online championship with a focus on players health.
This year, the Masters Tour will not be live streamed on Twitch regarding Blizzard teaming up with YouTube Gaming for streaming rights. You can catch the action on YouTube.com/PlayHearthstone
