At long last, Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pedersen’s visa has been approved. The Team Liquid Jungler has been delayed from joining his team in North America, but now, has nothing restricting him from traveling to Los Angeles to compete in the 2020 League of Legends Championship Series as originally intended.

Broxah started his career with Fnatic in 2017, and in three years managed to qualify for the World Championship every season to go alongside back to back EU LCS championships in 2018. Broxah’s replacement of Jake ’Xmithie’ Puchero on Team Liquid was a move made to elevate the team past its previous international efforts, while simultaneously retaining the domestic dominance that has seen TL win the last four splits in the LCS.

Team Liquid has been playing with Academy Jungler Shern "Shernfire" Cherng Tai in Broxah’s absence, and Mike "MikeYeung" Yeung has reprised his role from the previous season as the TLA Jungler in Shernfire’s place. Shernfire has performed admirably given the circumstances, but 2-2 is not where the reigning LCS champion wanted to be after two weeks of spring.

Broxah took to twitter to record a video announcing the news, and his excitement was palpable: "I’m going to have a hard time trying to stop smiling while telling you all of this, because my visa has been approved."

Broxah’s perpetual grin was only matched by the elation in his voice, as the Jungler was as relieved by the news as Team Liquid fans the world over. It’s such a relief to finally have my visa so I can soon travel to LA, join up with my team, and participate in everything and get to play some games in the LCS," Broxah said. 

Broxah has always been a player aware of how fans and supporters feel in less than fortunate times,  and made sure to express his gratitude for the positive reinforcement he received during his month in visa purgatory. "I would like to thank all of you who have been supporting me and cheering for me in this past month of time. I haven’t been able to travel while the visa delays were happening; luckily enough, we’re on the other side of it."

Broxah’s final line of the video , which he had trouble finishing through mirthful laughter, sums up how all fans of the LCS feel about the news: “I can’t wait...I can’t wait!”

Team Liquid Co-CEO Steve “LiQuiD112” Arhancet told ESPN_Esports’ Jacob Wolf that Broxah would not play for Team Liquid in its upcoming week 3 games of the 2020 LCS Spring Split, but will be ready to play come week 4.
