The LEC is just days away, and the announcements don't stop coming from Riot. Two days ago they announced their partner for LCS and LEC broadcasts in China, and yesterday we learned what the competitive format for the LEC in 2020 will look like. Today the LEC revealed a partnership with gaming chair company AKRacing, who will provide the player chairs for the 2020 season.
AKRacing Partnership Manager Chris Katzer says, in a press release: "We are beyond ecstatic to be making our entry into the world that is League of Legends via our 2020 LEC Season partnership. Together with Riot Games, we’re able to share our passion for gaming and comfort as we bring our premium chairs to the players of the European Championship.”
With the partnership, AKRacing replaces DXRacer, who supplied the official chairs for the LEC's 2019 season. The company joins Kia Motors and Alienware, who both announced that they'd be expanding their partnerships with the LEC earlier this month.
