Rather has transitioned to a coaching role within the team. On the 21st (KST), Griffin announced through their Twitter that their mid laner, Shin “Rather” Hyeong-seop has transitioned to a coaching role within the team. Rather joined the team in 2016. He had played as the starting mid laner during the amazing winning streak they had from Challengers Korea.
At the end of 2018, Rather was loaned to Flash Wolves, where he won the LMS spring split. After his loan expired, he returned to Griffin and as of today, he has transitioned to a coaching position within the team. Currently, Griffin has Son “Ucal” Woo-hyeon and Yoo “Naehyun” Nae-hyun signed as mid laners.
