Jon "dekillsage" Coello has parted ways with Echo Fox. The Dragon Ball FighterZ and Skullgirls competitor was signed by FOX on April 20, 2018 after establishing himself as one of the top DBFZ players in North America. The news was made public on dekillsage's twitter, where he thanked the organization for his opportunity and all that had been done for him throughout the length of his contract.

Alongside his close friend and now-former teammate Dominique "SonicFox" McLean, dekillsage solidified himself as one of the biggest names in the FGC on the east coast, and has maintained a top level of competition in DBFZ since the inception of the game's competitive circuit. Of the top 5 players in the second season of the DBFZ World Tour, which concludes with the World Tour Finals in Los Angeles, CA from February 8, 2020 to February 9, 2020, dekillsage is the only free agent.

Echo Fox's parting with dekillsage comes only a few days after another top Dragon Ball FighterZ talent entered free agency. Eduardo "HookGangGod" Deno severed ties with NRG at the beginning of the week after failing to qualify for the DBFZ World Tour Finals.

In addition to Steve "Supernoon" Carbajal, who parted ways with NRG before the start of the second season of competitive Dragon Ball FighterZ, dekillsage is one of two North American free agents who have qualified for the World Tour Finals with the 12th and 5th seeds, respectively. One third of the fifteen players who have punched their respective tickets for the Finals are currently unsigned by any organization or sponsor.
