SANDBOX Gaming has secured a spot in the KeSPA Cup finals. The bronze medalists of the LCK Summer Split 2019 ran past T1 in the semi finals with a dominant 3-1 victory. SANDBOX Gaming will face the winner of tomorrow's match between Afreeca Freecs and DragonX, but has already secured a prize of at least ₩20,000,000 (approximately $17,000 USD).

The series between SANDBOX and T1 was one of ultimates. The first two games, T1 seemed unable to get a grip on SANDBOX Gaming entirely. Jungler Moon "Cuzz" Woo-chan seemed to struggle especially, ending the second game with an 0-7 record. Things started to look up in the third game, which swung the complete other direction and ended in a dominant victory for T1, mainly off the back of bot laner Park "Teddy" Jin-seong, who finished the game with an 11-0 score.

However, though Teddy led T1 in all the games played, it wasn't enough. SANDBOX Gaming's jungler Kim "OnFleek" Jang-gyeom took the lead at haunting T1. On Olaf he managed to get a pentakill, and with an 8-0 score, he decidedly left his mark on his team's victory.
