Chalk one up for being available at the right place and the right time. Complexity had the good fortune of being available to replace MAD Lions at the very last minute, flying their players to Spain to play in the EU Minor Closed Qualifier for the upcoming ESL One Riot Major.

Despite playing extremely jetlagged, the team managed to pull out an impressive string of victories. First, they uprooted Sprout 2-0, closing out the series with a 16-6 on Overpass. They also went 2-0 against GODSENT, securing them a slot at the Minor.

Though everyone pulled their weight, Benjamin "blameF" Bremer impressed the most, with as high as a 1.55 rating against GODSENT that helped secure Complexity the win.

Complexity played their matches from the Movistar Riders compound, a fact that Jason Lake was quick to shoutout on Twitter.

This will be Complexity's first run for their newest roster in the Major system after falling out of contention due to their performance at the Starladder Berlin Major. This caused a major shift in their lineup, as they gutted their entire roster.

Also qualifying for the Minor today are Fnatic, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and Heretics. On the Americas side, FURIA, Bad News Bears, Cloud9, and Gen.G are the first teams through to the Minor.
