The Marketplace is the only place in Black Desert Online where you can sell items to or buy items from other players. You can access the Marketplace via the Marketplace Directors in large towns (Heidel, Calpheon, Altinova, etc.). Items listed in the Marketplace are shared across all territories, but retrieving expired items is restricted by each territory.
In the Marketplace menu, you can search for items, sell or purchase items that you desire, make pre-orders, and retrieve items/money from the Marketplace.
The maximum price and the minimum price are determined by supply and demand, but the price will not go over a certain price set for each item. The items that are registered will initially be purchased via the Bid system. The Bid system is fairly basic. Simply click on the Bid button, and wait a few seconds to see if your Bid was successful. If your Bid turns out successful, you will be paying the price and receive the item. The chance of a successful Bid is determined randomly among those who clicked the Bid button for the item. If an item is not purchased by anyone via the Bid system, it will sit in the Marketplace until someone purchases it.
■ Selling and Buying Items
To use the Marketplace, talk to the Marketplace Director in each large town and then click on the Marketplace button. If you want to sell items, click on the My Listings button at the bottom. To put the items in your inventory in the Marketplace, click on the Register Item button at the top right corner of the Marketplace window. Select the item you want to sell from your inventory, enter how many quantities you want to sell, set the unit price, hit Confirm to check the total price, and then click on the Register button at the bottom to confirm your sale. The item you registered will be available for sale at the Marketplace after 15 minutes.
When the items you registered are sold, you can collect the money by clicking on the Receive All button at the top or the Collect Money button next to each item from the list. You can only retreive the items from the same territory that you registered the item in. For example, if you registered an item in Heidel, you cannot collect the item in Calpheon.
When trying to buy an item, you can search for a specific item by its name, or search for items by category. To search items by categories, click on the main category of the item from the List on the left side, and then choose the sub-category from the drop-down menu.
If the item you searched for is currently registered at the Marketplace, it will appear in colors on the list. Click on the item to see how many are on sale, and hit the Buy button or the Bid button next to each unit to purchase it.
If the item you want to buy is not currently registered at the Marketplace, you can either pre-order it or set a notification for registration.
■ Pre-Ordering Items
The items that are not currently registered will appear on the list as black and gray, and you can pre-order them from the list.
Click on the item from the list, and click on the Pre-order button at the bottom right corner of the Marketplace window. Enter the amount of money you want to purchase the item with. You have to have money either in your inventory or in the storage of the territory you are in. The money you entered will be taken out from your inventory/storage. However, you will receive the money back once you cancel your pre-order. The chance of an item being sold by a pre-order or by a regular purchase/bid is random, but PEN gear will always be sold by pre-orders. You will be paying the money and will get the item if your pre-order price is the highest among everyone who placed pre-orders on that specific item. If you successfully purchase the item, it will be sent to you via your mailbox. The money you placed for pre-orders will not be returned automatically when you fail to purchase items. You can only retrieve the money manually by clicking on the Manage Pre-order button at the bottom of the Marketplace menu.
■ Registration Notifications
If you want to receive notifications when the items you desire are queued for registration, you can simply do so by clicking on the Notice button at the bottom right corner.
Click on the item you want to set a notification for from the list, and click on the Notice button. If you want to cancel the notification, go to the Notifications menu by clicking on the button at the bottom of the screen and click on the delete button next to the item you want to delete the notification for. A small notification window will pop up at the bottom right corner of the game screen when the items you set are queued for registration. The item will be registered at the Marketplace 15 minutes after the queue notification.
■ Special Deals
Special Deals are the items obtained while party-grinding that are auto-registered. The price will drop by 3% in every 10 minutes, but it will not go below 50% of the original price. If the items in Special Deals are sold, the money will be equally distributed among the party members.

Hey Yullie, special deals price decrease is 3% every 10 minutes, not 2% every 2 hours.
