As of Sept 12th (KST), all classes in Black Desert Online now have expanded Black Spirit’s Rage skills. The classes that got new Black Spirit skills this week are the Dark Knight, Striker, Mystic, and Lahn, and they can use the new Black Spirit skills with 10%, 25%, or 50% Rage.

■ Dark Knight

The Dark Knight can use Black Spirit: Grip of Grudge, Black Spirit: Spirit Hunt, and Black Spirit: Shattering Darkness.

Black Spirit: Grip of Grudge (RMB while holding Shift+F) [Black Spirit’s Rage 10%]

Black Spirit: Grip of Grudge can be used by right clicking while holding the base command. The Black Spirit skill has a larger AoE, and will attack one additional time. The AoE will be larger sideways, but the animation delay remains the same.

Black Spirit: Spirit Hunt (LMB while holding W+RMB) [Black Spirit’s Rage 25%]

Black Spirit: Spirit Hunt can be used by left-clicking while holding the base command. The skill has a larger AoE, attacks one more time, and gives a buff (all DP +10 for 20 seconds) while inflicting a debuff (movement speed -10% for 10 seconds) on the targets. Also, Black Spirit: Spirit Hunt has an additional animation where the Dark Knight jumps backward after hitting the target.

Regular Spirit Hunt does not have a long animation, but Black Spirit: Spirit Hunt has a long delay before the skill starts. The skill has Super Armor, but the delay makes it hard to use the skill as an approach skill.

Black Spirit: Shattering Darkness (RMB while holding Shift+LMB) [Black Spirit’s Rage 50%]

Black Spirit: Shattering Darkness can be used by right-clicking while holding the base command. In the Black Spirit version, the phantom blade will hit one more time, and will inflict Stiffness. The Black Spirit version has a slightly longer animation delay, and can be connected to Flow: Bombardment afterwards.

■ Striker

The Striker can use Black Spirit: Ferocious Assault, Black Spirit: Ultimate Crush, and Black Spirit: Skull Crusher. The new Black Spirit skills have additional hits, knock down effects, or animation cancels.

Black Spirit: Ferocious Assault (LMB while holding Shift+RMB) [Black Spirit’s Rage 10%]

Black Spirit: Ferocious Assault can be used by left-clicking while holding Shift+RMB. The skill will attack one more time than the regular Ferocious Assault does and will move a longer distance. Also, if you hold RMB you can cancel the animation and use the smash attack immediately.

However, the skill works a bit differently from the description. According to the skill description, Black Spirit: Ferocious Assault moves a longer distance, but the total distance that the Striker moves is longer in the regular Ferocious Assault, because the Striker can jump one more time from the air with regular Ferocious Assault.

With Black Spirit: Ferocious Assault, the Striker jumps higher and smashes the ground, and you can cancel the jumping animation in the middle by holding RMB. Both regular and Black Spirit Ferocious Assault have Super Armor, but the Black Spirit version has a longer animation delay.

Black Spirit: Ultimate Crush (RMB while holding S+LMB) [Black Spirit’s Rage 25%]

Black Spirit: Ultimate Crush can be used by right-clicking while holding S+LMB. The original Ultimate Crush has three animations, but Black Spirit: Ultimate Crush only has one animation. Also, the Striker will summon three Echo Spirits at once with Black Spirit: Ultimate Crush.

Black Spirit: Ultimate Crush has different skill effects as well. The original Ultimate Crush has floating on the second hit, down attack on the first hit, air attack on the second and third hit, and air smash on the third hit. Black Spirit: Ultimate Crush only has knock down and down attack. The Black Spirit skill also has a larger AoE, and gives a critical hit +10% buff for 20 seconds and inflicts a movement speed -20% debuff for 10 seconds on the targets.

Black Spirit: Skull Crusher (RMB while holding Shift+F) [Black Spirit’s Rage 50%]

Black Spirit: Skull Crusher can be used by right-clicking while holding Shift+F. The skill hits 4 more times, has a larger AoE, and inflicts knock down on good hits. The AoE becomes about 50% larger with Black Spirit: Skull Crusher.

■ Mystic

The Mystic can use Black Spirit: Hurricane Sweep, Black Spirit: Spiral Torpedo, and Black Spirit: Sea Burial. All three skills have a larger AoE and additional skill effects.

Black Spirit: Hurricane Sweep (RMB while holding F) [Black Spirit’s Rage 10%]

Black Spirit: Hurricane Sweep can be used by right-clicking while holding the base command, which is F. The skill will hit more times and will have a larger AoE, but will not be activated when Hurricane Sweep is on cooldown - unlike the original Hurricane Sweep, which can be used again even when on cooldown.

Black Spirit: Spiral Torpedo (RMB while holding W+F) [Black Spirit’s Rage 25%]

Black Spirit: Spiral Torpedo can be used by right-clicking while holding W+F. The Black Spirit skill hits one more time with an increased AoE, and gives a critical hit +10% buff for 20 seconds while inflicting an all AP -10 debuff on the targets.

Unlike other Black Spirit skills, Black Spirit: Spiral Torpedo has a very short animation. The Black Spirit skill can bypass enemies as well, and there are no additional CC effects.

Black Spirit: Sea Burial (LMB while holding W+RMB) [Black Spirit’s Rage 50%]

Black Spirit: Sea Burial can be used by left-clicking while holding W+RMB. The skill will hit more times with a larger AoE, and will inflict Bound not only in PvE but also in PvP.

■ Lahn

The Lahn can use Black Spirit: Eradication, Black Spirit: Bleeding Hearts, and Black Spirit: Flow: Mangler. The skills have a larger AoE and greater number of hits, and Black Spirit: Mangler has Super Armor.

Black Spirit: Eradication (RMB while holding Spacebar in certain situations) [Black Spirit’s Rage 10%]

Black Spirit: Eradication can be used by right-clicking upon activating Eradication. The skill attacks a few more times and has a larger AoE. The cooldown of Eradication is 8 seconds, but the skill can be used consecutively by consuming Stamina. However, Black Spirit: Eradication cannot be used if Eradication is on cooldown.

Black Spirit: Bleeding Hearts (F while holding LMB+RMB) [Black Spirit’s Rage 25%]

Black Spirit: Bleeding Hearts can be used by pressing F while holding LMB+RMB, and can be used as a combo after Bridled Despair or Flailing Blades. The throwing attack and the pulling attack will hit one more time, and the AoE will be larger. The skill also gives an all DP +10 buff for 20 seconds, and inflicts an all AP -10 debuff for 20 seconds on the targets. The AoE of the Black Spirit skill increases only sideways, so the range of the skill does not change.

Black Spirit: Mangler (LMB while holding RMB during Taunting Death, or F while holding LMB+RMB after Bleeding Hearts) [Black Spirit’s Rage 50%]

Black Spirit: Mangler has different commands depending on the preceding skills. If you are using the skill after Taunting Death, you can use Black Spirit: Mangler by left-clicking while holding RMB. If you are using the skill after Bleeding Hearts, you can hold LMB+RMB and then press F.

Black Spirit: Mangler has a larger AoE, and gives Super Armor, unlike the original Flow: Mangler; this allows you to deal damage more safely.
