A notepad function has been added to Black Desert Online KR. This notepad resembles Sticky Notes on Windows in appearance and function, and up to 15 notes can be made at the same time with the maximum of 2,000 character limit for each note.

To use the notepad, press ESC to open the game menu and click on the notepad button, which will open the UI for the notepad. Click on the ‘New Note’ button on the bottom of the tab to create a new note in the game. To create additional notes, either click on the same button or, click on the ‘+’ mark on the top left part of the notepad UI. Click 'Save' once done writing the notes.

Once created, the notes won’t go away even if the player is doing something else unless it is turned off manually. Players can use this note to write down the boss regens and grind until the time comes, or write the recipes they like to use often and read them right off the notepad when they are looking for the ingredients or in process of making them.

If the notepad goes away by accidentally pressing ‘X’ on the top, the players can always turn it back on by clicking the square button on the left or double-clicking that note. The notes can be deleted by pressing the bin shaped button on the right side of the notepad.

Other than that, players can also adjust the opacity of the background for the notepad, or even change the colour of the menu bar out of 6 colours to distinguish them. The notepad is shared on the same account so players can access their notes on different characters as long as they are on the same account. The notes will appear on the exact spot players put them last time, and can be dragged out of the game screen like other UIs, ex. inventory.
