A massive Public Beta Environment patch has rolled yesterday. The 9.24 PBE update includes the new champion Aphelios, the release of twelve new skins from the Sugar Rush, Nightbringer, Dawnbringer and Hextech series, and several other cosmetic updates.
League of Legends latest champion, Aphelios, has hit the PBE, and Riot Games has prepared a feedback thread to all players that wish to participate in the improvement of the champion. Revealed on November 19th, the marksman is making waves in the LoL community for its unusual kit, featuring five different weapons to fight with.
Riot Games has made available a Kit Primer, so you can get accustomed to probably the most ambitious champion they have ever put out. If successful, this may set the future of LoL Champions.
"Most champions can be summarized relatively quickly, but Aphelios isn't most champions. Learning to wield the Weapon of the Faithful demands discipline, focus, and mental acuity, so consider this primer your first test of faith along the path to mastering a champion with one of the highest skill ceilings in the game."
Riot Games has released twelve new champion skins on this PBE update. The skins are from previous lines, Hextech, Nightbringer, Dawnbringer, and Sugar Rush. The skins feature new models and textures, VFX, SFX, Voice Over lines, animations, recall animations and chroma keys.
The Dawnbringer and Nighbringer skin series is back, featuring the newest champion Aphelios, as his first skin, as well as Karma, Soraka - which gets both Nightbringer and Dawnbringer skins, Lee Sin -which features a Prestige Version, Nidalee, and Vladimir.
Jericho Swain, Hextech artificer, is a legendary figure among Piltover's upper class, leading the new future of technology. Swain has been secretly integrating various hextech components into his own body… having access to the eyes and ears of thousands of artificial creatures, being able to control them as he pleases.
