On the 27th (KST), T1 released a video of Kim “kkOma” Jeong-gyun. As it was known by many, kkOma will be leaving the team. T1 said through Twitter, "Thank you, Kkoma, for the incredible 7 years. Nothing we've made so far could have been accomplished without you, we wish you all the best."
KkOma started coaching SK Telecom T1 in 2012 and became the head coach in 2018. During his stay in SKT, he led the team to 3 world championships, 8 LCK championships, and 2 MSI championships. Leaving the team, kkOma will now take on a new challenge. Where he is headed to hasn't been officially announced yet.
T1 signed Kim Jeong-soo yesterday as their new head coach, Kim “Roach” Kang-hui as a top laner, and called up several trainees to the main roster. It is not certain whether there will be more signing or not.
