The very first Wolf bomb from the ESPN Esports off-season show came from Europe's LEC. Rogue will extend its contract with veteran Support Oskar "Vander" Bogdan, and also, will sign former Misfits Bot Laner Steven "Hans Sama" Liv to partner with Vander.
If Rogue is able to put this Bot Lane duo together as ESPN Esports reported, it would form a solid veteran core to allow the young solo lane talents of Finn "Finn" Wiestål in the Top Lane and Emil "Larssen" Larsson in the Mid Lane to develop and reach their full — and already promising — potential.
After a 10th place, 2-16 finish in its debut LEC split in spring, Rogue bet on young talent in the summer and qualified for the 2019 LEC Summer Playoffs with a record of 7-11; good enough for a 5th place Summer Split finish. Rogue shocked the European continent with a 3-0 upset of Splyce in the Quarterfinals, but met its end at the hands of FC Schalke 04 in a 1-3 Semifinals defeat.
Rogue is steps away from being a top LEC team after showing its potential in 2019, and this Bot Lane duo provides the team with a stable veteran core amongst the top talents in European League of Legends to build its team around through 2021.
