On the 18th (KST), KT Rolster has announced that they have mutually parted ways with their Jungler, Eom ‘UmTi’ Seong-hyeon and Bot laner, Byun ‘Gango’ Se-hoon.
For KT Rolster, 2019 has been a very rough year. They’ve finished 9th place in the Spring split, and for the first time in the organization’s history, they had to fight for their LCK spot in the relegation tournament against ES Sharks and VSG. Even with the addition of the veteran Bot laner, Kim ‘Pray’ Jong-in, they’ve finished 8th place in the Summer split, barely avoiding the relegation tournament for the 2nd time.
KT Rolster made an announcement on their official Facebook page, saying, “After much discussion, we’ve mutually parted ways with Eom ‘UmTi’ Seong-hyeon and Byun ‘Gango’ Se-hoon. We thank them both for their work with KT Rolster in 2019, and wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors.”
