Irvine, California – June 13, 2019 – Joycity is pushing the limit with the new World War update for Gunship Battle: Total Warfare.

Players across the globe can now join a massive scale war to determine the absolute reigning alliance in the game. For the past few months, players came together to battle each other out for the top alliance on each server. The World War update will take that concept and pit the leading alliances of each server against each other all in real-time. Up to three servers will be matched together in battle and can last up to 2 days! The supreme alliances can battle one another or two weaker alliances can join together to defeat the strongest of the three. The outcome will be anyone’s guess until the World War begins.

Top alliances from over 20 servers have claimed their throne in recent weeks through the Base of Operation Conquest mode. Now, the battle is being taken to the next level by having the entire server support their top alliance. Yesterday’s enemy becomes an ally today! There are number of ways everyone can participate to support the top alliances on each server, including joining the fray as a hired mercenary and providing resource support. There will be many rewards and perks for the winning alliance, such as a 30% tax rate and other exclusive markings showcasing to everyone who won the World War.

The World War mode is set to occur every other week, while the Base of Operations Conquest mode will be playable once every two weeks. There will be many opportunities for the tides to turn and powers to shift!

This update also features revised water effects around the base for better visibility. A highly requested 60fps option has also been added. This feature is reserved for high-end devices but should provide smoother gameplay for those looking to push their devices to the limit.

Gunship Battle: Total Warfare features real-time PVP with players from all over the world. The game fully incorporates the modern war setting from the Gunship Battle franchise and plants it in a strategy game environment.
