SANDBOX Gaming extended the contracts of all their starting roster and coaching staff until 2020.
On the 8th (KST), SANDBOX Gaming announced that they've extended the contracts of all their players and coaching staff until 2020.
In the 2019 LCK Spring Split, SANDBOX Gaming had performed better than most expected. The players who extended their contracts are Park "Summit" Woo-tae, Kim "OnFleek" Jang-gyeom, Jang "Ghost" Yong-jun, and Cho "Joker" Jae-eup. Along with the players, coach Kang "Laden" Byung-ho and Lee "Dragon" Jun-yong also extended their contracts.
SANDBOX decided to extend the contracts through trust and teamwork; they are stepping forward to prepare for a better summer split. On the contract extensions, head coach Yoo "Sally" Eui-joon said, "I'm very satisfied to work longer with such talented players and trustworthy coaches. I'd like to thank CEO Lee Pil-seong, SANDBOX Network, and the SANDBOX Gaming front office for putting their faith in us. I'll do my best to make a team that's even more improved for the summer."
SANDBOX Gaming finished 4th in the 2019 LCK Spring Split. Although their run was cut short by losing in the wild-card match, their run was impressive throughout the split and drew much attention from many fans.
