Immortals plans to join the LCS by raising $30MM in Series B funding.
According to an ESPN report, Immortals is told to have raised a total of $30 million USD in a Series B funding. Also, they have made a change in the organization's management; Immortals CEO, Noah Whinston has stepped down from the managerial role and will remain as a shareholder.
ESPN has also reported that Immortals is aiming to take over OpTic Gaming, a team currently participating in the LCS. It seems like they are trying once again to make it in the LCS franchise partnership which they've failed back in 2018.
The Immortals organization has been managing an LoL team starting from 2015 Spring to 2017 Summer. They displayed solid performance in the LCS and made it to the Worlds 2017. Meanwhile, they are focusing on their Overwatch League team, LA Valiant.
