Just over a week after Inven Global published leaks detailing the specifics of Hearthstone Grandmasters' inaugural season, with the leaked structure being confirmed a few days ago, more leaks have come out. Sources have confirmed that Lucas "Rase" Guerra and Cong "StrifeCro" Shu will participate in the Americas' division of Hearthstone Grandmasters.
Rase saw a breakout year in 2018, showing dominance in the Copa América tournaments and qualifying for the Summer Championships. To top it off, he and his countrymen grabbed the silver medal at Blizzcon's Hearthstone Global Games finals. StrifeCro has been going through quieter times with regards to competitive glamour, though to this day he is still acknowledged as one of the all-time Hearthstone legends.
Since the Hearthstone Grandmasters system will have sixteen players per region compete, and fifteen of them are determined prior to the Hearthstone World Championships, both Europe's and the Americas' roster now seems complete. The final invite will go to whoever places highest of their region in the upcoming World Championships. If Muzzy, bloodyface or justsaiyan makes the deepest run at the World Championships, their predetermined invite will go to Fei "ETC" Liang, Inven Global has learned as well.
With these two additions, the full lineup of both Europe's and the Americas' inaugural Grandmasters season will look as follows:
Europe | Americas | |||||
Seiko | BoarControl | Feno | Justsaiyan | Muzzy | Amnesiac
Casie | Kolento | Thijs | Fr0zen | Zalae | Purple
Bunnyhoppor | Rdu | Hunterace | Dog | Firebat | Bloodyface
Orange | Bozzzton | Jarla | PNC | Nalguidan | Monsanto
Pavel | Silvername | Swidz | Seohyun | Rase | Strifecro |
When reached out to for a response, Blizzard let Inven Global know: “Blizzard Entertainment does not comment on rumor or speculation. We look forward to sharing more about Hearthstone Grandmaster’s roster soon.”

Storyteller by heart. If something is competitive, I am interested in it.
