Kingzone DragonX bot laner, Kim “Deft” Hyuk-kyu hit his 1,000th kill in the LCK.

On the 21st of March (KST), Deft succeeded to reach 1,000 kills in the LCK, against his former team, kt Rolster. Before today's match, Deft had accumulated 995 kills; it was a matter of time for him. In Game 1 of the match, he picked Ezreal and picked up 5 more kills to collect his 1,000th kill.

Deft debuted in 2013 as the ADC of MVP Blue which was later changed to Samsung Blue. Afterward, he played for EDward Gaming of the LPL for two years before returning to the LCK. Deft joined kt Rolster in the when he returned to Korea. After his contract expired with KT, he signed with Kingzone DragonX.

There are eight other players that accomplished the feat before Deft. Earlier this season, Hanwha Life Esports bot laner Gwon “Sangyoon” Sang-yun had breached 1,000 kills.
