Monster Hunter: World 1 Year Anniversary Appreciation Festival Finally Begins! Event Gear Returns for a Limited Time

The Appreciation Festival in celebration of Monster Hunter: World’s 1 year anniversary has begun on January 25th 16:00 (UTC-8).

It has been exactly a year since the official launch, which was January 26th 2018. The event will be available for a month until February 21st 15:59 (UTC-8) on both the PS4 and PC.

During the event period, players can receive all event quests and collaboration quests that have taken place so far. This means that they have a chance to get all the equipment that was previously only limited to events. This will be a great chance for players who missed getting high-end gear like Wyvern Ignition “Impact” from past events.

Also, there will be 9-level quests for the Great Jagras, the most hunted monster in the last year, and Lavasioth, the least hunted. Players can hunt the Arch Tempered Great Jagras from January 25th to February 7th 15:59 and can hunt the Arch Tempered Lavasioth starting on February 7th 16:00. Both monsters drop jewels, which will make it a great opportunity for players to farm them.

Do you think the drop rarity for decorations will be different in rarity between the greatest jagras or the upcoming lavasioth quest? Since lavasioth will be harder to fight compared with the jagras

  I can't tell right now since Arch Tempered Lavasioth isn't out yet. But Lavasioth is harder, so hopefully it will be more rewarding :)
