The world's first law firm that specializes in eSports has been founded.
Bryce Blum, an eSports lawyer, announced through his Twitter account that he has launched ESG Law, the world's first esports-orientated law firm, as a Founding Partner.
Despite its infancy, the firm features an impressive list of clients that include Fnatic, Team Liquid, Team SoloMid, EnVyUs and some well-known figures such as MonteCristo, Voyboy and DoA.
The firm's profile states that they are "Woven into the fabric of the esports ecosystem and deeply invested in its future growth." The profile describes them as "engaged citizens of the esports community that create legal solutions to a constantly evolving set of challenges."
Bryce Blum was a Founding Partner of Interactive Media & Entertainment Law (IME), and he is currently acting as the Executive Vice President of Catalyst Sports & Media, an agency that represents not only traditional sports such as basketball and European soccer, but also eSports.
