GC Busan Rising STar won against Jin Air Green Wings by 2-0 in the League of Legends KeSPA Cup Round 1 on December 24th.

It seemed at first Jin Air had an advantage over GC Busan when they had taken enemy Lucian in the bot lane, although GC Busan managed to catch up by taking the Rift Herald and winning the team fights. GC Busan then took the Baron Nashor and marched on to destroy enemy Nexus, defeating Jin Air Green Wings.

Following is the post-match interview with Moo from GC Busan Rising Star.

Did you expect to win against Jin Air Green Wings today?

Yes, I expected we would obviously win by 2-0 even before coming to the stadium.

It was impressive how you carry with Ezreal, just like you did in the last match as well as the 1st set today. Do you feel confident that you can win as long as you pick Ezreal?

Yes.

Actually, things weren’t going easy for you on Lucian in the 2nd set.

Yes.

Your coach even said this is your pocket pick; it must have felt very frustrating during the laning phase. How did you feel back then?

I did think that it will be hard for me prior to the game starting. I got Lucian and my opponent team got Ashe, and I thought, ‘Ah, this won’t be easy’.

But still, your teamwork was so great that there must have been a player you trusted in. Who do you think was the player that did the best in the 2nd set?

I think everyone did well during the 2nd set except me. Honestly, when our top laner got a solo kill, the game started going as we wanted. I just got carried since our mid laner, jungler, and support did well at every team fights.

We can’t leave out how GC Busan carried the game in the 1st set. You almost won every team fights during the later phase; one of the most impressive moment was when you as Ezreal used Arcane Shift to precisely target enemy Caitlyn and killed her before you destroyed enemy’s first turret. Do you remember that team fight? Can you go into details about that moment?

I used Arcan Shift since enemy Caitlyn kept getting hit by my Q, and she just died. That’s how it just happened.

Your next match will be against KT Rolster. Are you feeling confident?

Yes, I am definitely confident about winning and I’ve been trying hard.
