Kingzone DragonX Acquired Acorn and re-signed Supreme for the 2019 season.
On the 6th of December, Kingzone DragonX announced on their Twitter that they have finished their coaching roster for the upcoming season. KZ signed two-year contracts with both Acorn and Supreme; the two will work alongside Hirai for 2019-2020. As for ActScene, a coach who has been with Kingzone all throughout 2018, he left the team to tackle his mandatory military service.
Acorn, a former Samsung Blue player, entered the LPL scene in December 2014 on a team called LGD Gaming. Then, Acorn left LGD in 2016 to join Saint Gaming -- but not too long after, he returned to LGD and became the team's head coach. As a player, Acorn claimed victory in both the LCK and the LPL. Although Acorn has yet to prove himself as a coach, Hirai picked him up in hopes that he'd be able to synergize well with his former teammates, Deft and Pawn.
Lastly, on their announcement, Kingzone thanked coach ActScene for his hard work throughout 2018 and bid him farewell.
