Dade made an announcement through his social media that he's back, and that he'll stream again.
On the 5th of December, former Samsung Blue mid laner, Dade, announced on Facebook that he'll begin streaming again. After leaving the Qiao Gu Reapers in 2016, Dade went silent and stopped almost all interactions with his fans. After two years of silence, Dade formally apologized to his fans for the long silence and announced that he'll begin streaming again.
"Two years ago, I was going to take a brief break and start streaming. However, I had a personal problem I needed to take care of; a problem that I thought I could take care of quickly, but that wasn't the case. I wasn't able to focus on anything else because of it. I sincerely apologize to all my fans for having gone silent without notice," he said. Dade did not specify what the 'problem' was.
Although he added that the problem is still unsolved, he stated on his announcement that it's gotten a lot better and that he's "ready to begin anew."
Dade began his career in 2012 as part of CJ Entus. From there, he joined MVP Ozone, which was rebranded to Samsung Ozone in 2013. He then joined Samsung Blue, where he won two titles in Korea (OLYMPUS Champions Spring 2013, HOT6iX Champions Spring 2014). Dade was a mid laner renowned for his skillful playstyle on assassin champions such as Zed and Yasuo -- he was considered one of the best mid laners in the world by fans and analysts alike.
After the 2014 League of Legends World Championship, Dade departed from the Samsung organization and set out for China. He played for Masters 3 (Team WE Academy), and Newbee (Quao Gu Reapers) before eventually returning to Korea in 2016. In November of that year, Dade gave a vague update regarding his situation before going silent.
It's been just over two years since we heard from Dade. He did not provide a specific date for when he'll begin streaming again, but it looks to be soon.
