TSM announced that they have acquired Andy “Smoothie” Ta and Sergen “Broken Blade” Çelik.
After their announcement of acquiring support Smoothie on the 24th, TSM signed top laner Broken Blade the day after.
Smoothie started his career in 2015 as a member of Team Dragon Knights and had played in Team Liquid. He joined Cloud9 in 2016 and stayed with the team for two years. In 2018, he was traded to Echo Fox in the middle of the summer split.
Broken Blade debuted in 2016 and has been in many different teams. His 2018 showed dominance in the Turkish Champions League playing for Royal Bandits. Starting from the winter season, he placed 1st or 2nd in every major competition he participated in.
TSM has been the powerhouse of the NA League of Legends scene ever since the league existed. However, they struggled through the 2018 season and was denied from the World Championship for the first time in organization history. After the season, they released head coach Kim “SSONG” Sang-soo and signed Tony “Zikz” Gray as their new head coach.
Alongside the announcement of acquiring Broken Blade, TSM also mentioned that they are in talks with other organizations to find Kevin “Hauntzer” Yarnell a new team and will be providing more details at a later date.
Meanwhile, Jesper "Zven" Svenningsen announced through his twitter that he will also be playing for TSM during the 2019 season.
With many roster changes all over the world, fans are watching with keen interest whether TSM will make more changes or not.
