Khan will fight alongside SK Telecom T1 in the upcoming season.
On the 22nd of November, SKT T1 announced through their Twitter that Khan will be joining SKT as the team's new top laner.
Recently, SKT made an announcement that 7 of their players have been let go due to their contracts expiring. With the news that Thal and Untara are parting ways with SKT, the announcement left many fans in suspense; one big question heavily discussed was "how will SKT replace the two long-time top laners?"
Known for his aggressive playstyle and top lane carry champions, Khan must now team up with Faker and the SKT coaching staff to carry the team to victory. It will definitely be interesting to see how Khan's playstyle will affect the team, and how the team will affect him.
Khan started his career in 2013 on a team called Prime Optimus. Not long after, Khan departed from Korea to play in China, where he stayed for a number of years before returning to Korea in 2017 to settle in Longzhu Gaming. Afterward, Khan really made a name for himself; through unbelievable mechanical plays on top lane carry champs such as Fiora and Jayce, Khan began garnering a lot of attention, even claiming the unofficial title of "the world's best top laner" at one point.
It is unclear how well Khan will adapt and fit into SKT's team environment, but many fans are eagerly waiting and anxious to see how he performs.
