Jinyeong "CoCo" Shin has signed up with LPL’s Newbee Gaming for the next season.

Tencent has revealed all of the team rosters for the 2017 LPL Spring; CoCo, who played for Longzhu Gaming in the previous season, was found among the list of players who will be playing for Newbee Gaming.

CoCo made his pro debut with Xenics Storm, but his prime time was with CJ Entus Frost, where he helped the team defeat SKT T1 K in the Challengers League (Known as NLB at the time). His victories with CJ earned him the affectionate nicknames “Best Mid in Frost” among Korean fans, and “Cocodin”, a nickname derived from his impressive mechanics with Kassadin.

While his record after being transferred to Longzhu Gaming was a mediocre 21-36, he is still regarded as one of the best mid-laners in the world when in comes to mechanics.

Together with Dahoon “Swift” Baek, an ex-teammate from CJ Frost, CoCo has a lot to hope for in the next season.
