Jeong "NoFe" No-chul, the former head coach of ROX Tigers, and Hae 'Cry' Sung-min have signed on with Edward Gaming.

EDG officially announced the acquisition of NoFe and Cry through their official Weibo on the 18th. NoFe and Cry played last season as members of ROX Tigers and won the League of Legends Champions Korea and advanced to the semi-finals in the 2016 Worlds.

Cry will play as AD Carry in the new team to avoid overlapping positions with EDG's existing Midlaner Lee "Scout" Ye-chan. Cry has also changed his name to "Zet."

EDG has prepared to take on the next season, by filling up the vacant spot for head coach and AD Carry. Many wonder if EDG will be able to keep up with the good performance that they showed at LPL last season.
