Through their official Twitter, LPL has announced their teams for the regular season this year. The way this year’s team was drafted resembles the NBA’s style. They pick players according to position and can make up to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd teams. The players selected for the 1st team are believed to have shown the best performance in each position.

There is a strong emphasis on Korean mid laners. Korea had a monopoly of its own with Rookie picked for the 1st team, and Doinb picked for the 2nd. The 3rd team’s mid laner is Xiaohu from RNG.

Taking some time off recovering from his wrist injury, Uzi was picked for the 2nd team and was able to keep his pride intact. Although he lost form in the latter half of the season after returning from his injury, Uzi was rewarded for his incredible performance at the beginning of the season.

Another noticeable feature is RNG. All 5 players on the RNG roster was drafted for the teams this year. 5 from RNG, 4 from IG, 2 from both Rogue Warriors and Suning Gaming, and 1 from both EDG and JDG.
