Longzhu Gaming signed Sangsu ‘Ssong’ Kim as a coach.

On December 13th, Longzhu Gaming announced that it has signed Sangsu ‘Ssong’ Kim as a coach through its official social media account.

Ssong made his debut as midlaner of Najin e-mFire and won Champions Winter 2012-2013, during which he was noted for his contribution to the team’s victory with creative play-callings and perfect macro plays. He changed his position to support some time later, and eventually became a coach until he took a short break from the competitive scene.

Ssong’s next destination as a coach was ROX Tigers, where his creative strategy and extensive draft knowledge served him very well. The synergy between Ssong and his ex-teammate Nochul ‘NoFe’ Jung was spectacular, resulting in the golden era of ROX Tigers with flawless drafts and post-match feedback.

As Longzhu Gaming also has other members from ROX Tigers including Jongin ‘PraY’ Kim and Beomhyun ‘GorillA’ Kang, the team should be able to maximize teamwork within short period of time. With three pieces of ROX Tigers’ legacy combined, it will be interesting to see if Longzhu Gaming can truly be different this season.
