On July 12th, a global test server for Black Desert Online kicked off in NA and KR. The test server, called the Black Desert Global Lab, will introduce some new content and allow Pearl Abyss to receive feedback before features are added to the live server.

For a better testing environment, players who are participating in the Global Lab will be given a Lv. 60 character with 2,792 skill points, inventory slots and weight expansion items, a gear package, a tier 8 horse, an Epheria Sailboat license, and some silver.

In order to participate in the Global Lab, you must have a Level 56 or above character in the live server and apply beforehand. The content that is being tested in the Global Lab and the testing period are available in the official Black Desert Global Lab website: https://www.global-lab.playblackdesert.com/

The Global Lab is only available for the players in NA and KR as of now, but Pearl Abyss assured that they will be extending the service to EU as well in the near future. The test server will be reset every two weeks, and this week's new content is Tungrad Ring, Prothea Cave, Sycraia Underwater Ruins and Sycraia Abyssal Ruins.
