Cloud 9 is the latest NA esports organization to fully embrace Fortnite esports, revealing today that they have created two separate teams to compete in Epic Games smash hit Battle Royale.
Comprised of players from Team X, Maurilio Blind Gramajo, Nicholas zoof Zufan,
and Rex Topboy Holmstrom make up one of the new squads. They are still awaiting a "to-be-determined" fourth player, but those who follow the growing Fortnite scene will recognize early on the teams potential.
At Ninja Vegas 18, Blind was the first player to eliminate the most popular Fortnite player in the world, Ninja, while also being the only player to achieve Victory Royale Multiple times.
The other squad is comprised of players from Who Are They?, a team most known for getting first place in Season 3 of the StepOneBR Scrim League. Out of 320 other teams in the competition, The team comprised of Christian Criz Rizk, Jared Bandit Jones, Clemente Shivsy Ibarra, and Brennan boss Amiott scored 31 wins in total with the team behind them scoring only 27 wins.

Cloud 9 has many teams across multiple esports, including League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Overwatch, Hearthstone, Super Smash Bros Melee, Clash Royale, H1Z1, Rocket League, and PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS.
Now Fortnite is added to that list.
