On June 11th, Ubisoft revealed a gameplay walkthrough of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey at the conference in Los Angeles.

The title is based in ancient Greece. Players will be able to experience historical battles of the Peloponnesian War. In this installment, players can choose to play through the story as one of two characters: Alexios and Kassandra.

The playthrough was 8 minutes long and featured gameplay from Kassandra’s POV. The RPG elements and action that were favored in the last expansion will still be part of the latest title, along with the traditional 1v1 combat. In particular, a couple of scenes showcasing naval combat and a fight against a giant monster has heightened gamers’ expectation as well.

The Assassin’s Creed franchise is one of Ubisoft’s representative action adventure titles, which is favored for its infiltration, action, and historical elements.
